Raptors fall to Skidmore in Liberty League game

ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Skidmore College women's lacrosse team held Bard without an offensive possession for the first 18 minutes of the game, built a 12-1 halftime lead, and cruised to a 17-1 victory in a Liberty League game on Friday.

Skidmore improved to 4-6 overall, 1-2 in the Liberty League. Bard is 3-7, 0-2.

The Thoroughbreds scored five goals in the first 10 minutes and just refused to let Bard clear its defensive zone. The Raptors were held to 4-of-23 on clears.

Marisa Caponi (Wayne, NY) led Skidmore with four goals and five assists.

Nicole Ellin scored Bard's only goal, and Kaylynn Tran made 10 saves.
