Raptors fall to Rochester in Liberty League action

ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y.- The University of Rochester women's lacrosse team opened the game with six goals from six different players en route to a 14-4 victory over Bard College in a Liberty League game on Friday afternoon.

Rochester improved to 4-9 overall and 1-5 in the Liberty League. Bard is 4-9, 0-6.

The guests ran out to a 5-0 in the first seven minutes, and Rochester didn't allow Bard a shot on goal until Casey Witte scored with 2:22 left in the first half. It was 9-1 at halftime.

Jamie Wallisch (Amherst, NH) led Rochester with five points (3g, 2a), while Madeline Levy (Cheshire, CT) had two goals and an assist.

Marion Adams, Casey Witte, Nicole Ellin, and Alexandra Clarkehad a goal a piece for the Raptors. Ellin also picked up an assist, had three draw controls, and had two caused turnovers on defense. Kaylynn Tran collected three ground balls and made 12 saves in goal.
