Keuka College (2-6, 0-2 NEAC) has a quick turnaround. The Green and Gold host the College of St. Elizabeth on Sunday at 3pm.
Kendall Neuberger led Keuka with three goals and an assist on Saturday. Sydney Forshay and Maura Gosson each added a pair of goals. Freshman goalie Alyna Thayer made a career-high 10 saves in the loss.
Keuka got out to a fast start as Sydney Forshay found the back of the net 36 seconds into the game for the 1-0 lead. The advantage would be short-lived, however. The Charges tied the game 32 seconds later. That goal sparked a 9-0 that put Lancaster Bible in control. Kendall Neuberger snapped the run with a free position goal with a minute left in the half. Lancaster Bible College led 9-2 at the break.
Lancaster Bible College grew their lead to 11-3 in the opening five minutes of the second half. Keuka began a comeback. Forshay scored. Less than a minute later, Neuberger found the back of the net. Kendall Neuberger, a freshman, completed the hat trick with 20:52 left to play, making the score 11-6. The score would sit there for nearly 13 minutes as the Chargers maintained their advantage. Maura Gosson scored while a man down with 7:58 left to play to narrow the gap to four goals, 11-7. Lancaster Bible stopped the run and scored a pair in the final minutes to secure the 13-7 victory.
