Keuka College (3-6, 1-2 NEAC) next face Morrisville State College on Wednesday night at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex in a rematch of last season's NEAC championship game.
Sydney Forshay scored six goals and assisted on a career-best four to help lead Keuka to the victory. Her 10 total points is a career-high for the junior. Maura Gosson finished with three goals and an assist. Elizabeth Sherman, Ashley Appell, and Kendall Neuberger each added a pair of goals. Also scoring for Keuka was Vanessa Tsarevich, Samantha Peacock, and Gabrielle Moshier.
Keuka College got out to a fast start against the College of St. Elizabeth. The Green and Gold scored six goals in the opening six minutes of play for the early advantage. Forshay scored three of the first six for Keuka. Maura Gosson netted a pair as the Green and Gold continued to extend their lead. Keuka led 11-0 at the half.
Sydney Forshay scored the first two goals of the second half for Keuka. The Eagles got on the board with 17 minutes left to play, but Keuka responded with a goal by Gabrielle Moshier. It was her first of the season. Samantha Peacock also got her first of the season in the closing minutes as Keuka would defeat St. Elizabeth 18-1.
