College of Saint Elizabeth on Sunday, picking up a 9-0 road conference
victory. Wells moves to 3-5 overall and to 2-1 within the North Eastern
Athletic Conference. Saint Elizabeth remains winless in six matches on
the year.

The Express completely blanked its
opponents in five different flights on Sunday, not allowing a single set
point. The No. 1 doubles duo of senior Brooke Benedetto (Williamstown, N.Y.) and Yuna Furusawa (Hirakata, Osaka, Japan) earned an 8-0 victory before senior Kevisha Hunt (Germantown, Md.) and junior Nicole Sanborn (Onondaga, N.Y.) secured an 8-1 win at No. 2 doubles.
After a forfeit by Saint Elizabeth at No. 3 doubles, Benedetto earned a No. 1 singles win by a 6-0, 6-0 score. Sophomore Kamarie Maturine
(Brooklyn, N.Y.) followed that performance up with a 6-0, 6-0 win at
No. 2 singles before Hunt notched a 6-0, 6-2 victory at No. 3 singles.
Sanborn and Furusawa collected back-to-back 6-0, 6-0 wins at No. 4 and
No. 5 singles, respectively.
Saint Elizabeth forfeited its match at No. 6 singles, rounding out the final score for the Express.

of play with four-straight home matches. The Express will take on
Lancaster Bible College on Friday, Apr. 15 at 3 p.m. in Aurora.
