Kim Raichelson broke the scoring ice with her first of four goals on the day 37 seconds in for Stockton's early lead. Courtney Gallagher answered with her ninth goal of the season for the Panthers (3-6) at 25:54 to tie the game. Melanie Patterson's goal at 24:49 ignited a 9-0 Osprey run before Sara Bey found Natasha Treuman with 1:49 remaining to make it a 10-2 game. Kelsey Perst scored at 1:09 followed by Raichelson's goal with eight seconds left to send Stockton into the half with a 12-2 lead.
Down 15-2, Treuman finished Danielle Weir's feed for her team-leading 30th goal of the season with 25:59 remaining. Stockton closed out the final 18:52 with a 5-0 run.
Treuman and Weir both caused three turnovers, while Bey and Taylor Guarneri followed with two. Gallagher controlled four draws and Weir had two. Old Westbury netminder Ashley Gugliuzzo (3-6) picked up three ground balls, caused one turnover and made two saves in defeat.
Mary Stornes (9-1) stopped two shots in the first half to secure the Stockton win before Maura Twiggs recorded one second-half save. Sarah Frankovic assisted on six Osprey goals while Colleen Knight caused five turnovers and controlled four draws. Lauren Ivancich totaled a game-high five draw controls.
MORAVIAN GREYHOUNDS UP NEXT FOR THE PANTHERS: Old Westbury returns to the road Friday (Apr. 8) for a non-conference battle with the Moravian Greyhounds at 4 p.m. from Hub Quad Field.
