Men's Volleyball Clinches CUNYAC 2nd Place, Rally to Defeat Brooklyn

The men's volleyball team defeated the Bulldogs of Brooklyn College in four on Tuesday night in Brooklyn, New York.

The visiting Bearcats stumbled early losing a tightly contest opening set, 25-23, but rallied back in convincing fashion with scores of 25-15, 25-20, 25-19 to record the win and clinch second place in the CUNYAC regular season standings. 

The Bearcats also earn a bye into the semifinal round on Friday, April 13, at 4 p.m., against the winner of the 3 x 6 seeded playoff match up. The conference office will announce the entire schedule this week.

The Baruch College Athletic Department will host the two semifinals (4pm, 6pm) and championship match (8pm) on Friday, April 13 in the ARC Arena.

Nicholas Godino led the Bearcats against Brooklyn with 15 kills and Samuel Rabidoux had 11. Stephen Roach dished out 30 assists.

Vaughn Titus led the host Bulldogs with 13 kills.
