Chargers Down Wolves in Straight Sets

LANCASTER, Pa. — The Keuka College Men's Volleyball team lost straight sets in a North Eastern Athletic Conference match at Lancaster Bible College on Friday night.

Chris Corcoran had 14 assists for Keuka College (6-15, 2-5 NEAC). Christian Nickerson finished with a pair of blocks for Keuka and JP Nery led the team with five kills.

Lancaster Bible College 3 vs. Keuka College 0 – 25-10, 25-14, 25-18

The Chargers slowly built their lead throughout the first set. A 6-0 run by Lancaster Bible extended their lead to 20-7. The Wolves had 10 errors and just three kills in the frame as Keuka lost the opening set 25-10.

Keuka College kept it close as a kill by JP Nery cut the deficit to two points at 9-7. However, Lancaster Bible would go on to score 10 of the next 11 points to extend their margin. The Chargers took a 2-0 lead in the match with a 25-14 second set victory.

After Keuka scored the opening point, Lancaster Bible College converted eight straight to take the lead. The Chargers would ride that momentum to a 25-18 victory, sweeping the match 3-0.

Connor Gail broke a tie with Aaron Brill and now stands in fifth place alone with 230 kills this season
Gail also surpassed the 300 dig plateau for his career
