Sadé Smith and Daemen women's triathlon continued their season Sunday at Ohio Fall Challenge in Mount Sterling, Ohio.

MT. STERLING, OHIO – Sophomore Bella Buenting (Chanhassen, Minn.) placed third overall among all female competitors to pace the Daemen women's triathlon team morning at the Ohio Fall Challenge held today at Deer Creek State Park. It marked the second triathlon competition of the season for the Wildcats and just their third in the last 19 months.

Sophomore Sadé Smith (Dumfries, Va.) finished third overall in the 15-19 age group.
The Wildcats next return to action Saturday, November 13 at the Collegiate Triathlon National Championships. Buenting qualified for the championships after she finished 17th overall and second among all NCAA Division II participants with a time of 1:05:23.3 on Sept. 4 at Lake Andrea in Pleasant Prairie, Wisc.
