Recreation Space Inclusive of All Colgate University Students
HAMILTON – Colgate University's PERA Division is thrilled to announce the grand opening of the "Raiders Den" on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. All students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to stop in and be among the first to view the new recreational space located in Huntington Gymnasium.
"I am grateful to Julian Springer and his staff
Dr. Julian Springer commented on the space. "This is an exciting day for the PERA Division and the University. The goal was to design a space inclusive of all Colgate students that would allow for fellowship while creating opportunities for introductions that turn into lifelong relationships. It's nice to see Dr. Nicki Moore's vision come to fruition".
Colgate junior Alexis Goldman "23" shared her thoughts on the new space: "I am so excited for the new Raider's Den! From video games to ping pong and foosball, there isn't another option like this on campus to hang out and spend time with friends. I think it will be a wonderful addition!"
"Our Physical Education and Recreation program can play an even greater role as we seek to provide every student the opportunity to play, exercise, relax, connect and compete. The Raiders Den adds a fun, new dimension to our offerings." – Dr. Nicki Moore
