Hanna Corrigan and Blake Aronson Selected as SUNY Cortland Athletes of the Week

Field hockey freshman forward/midfielder Hanna Corrigan (Barneveld/Holland Patent) and men's soccer graduate student midfielder Blake Aronson (Huntington Station/Walt Whitman) have been chosen as the SUNY Cortland Athletes of the Week for the week ending Sept. 19.

Hanna helped lead Cortland to two non-

conference wins with three goals and one assist. In a 2-1 come-from-behind win at Ithaca, Corrigan tallied both Cortland goals, including the game winner with 2:52 remaining. She then assisted on the Red Dragons' first goal and scored the team's second goal in a 5-3 win versus William Smith at home.

Blake Aronson
Blake scored a pair of game-winning goals during a 2-0 week for the Red Dragons. In a 2-1 win over visiting Hobart, Aronson tallied the tiebreaking goal in the 66th minute. He then notched the game's only goal in a 1-0 home win versus Ithaca and has scored a goal in five straight games.
