NEW YORK, NY -- The women's volleyball team welcomed Hunter College and the City College of New York to the Doghouse on Saturday morning for the John Jay Tri-Match. The Bloodhounds concluded the day with a 1-1 record, beating CCNY, 3-1 (25-16, 25-13, 21-25, 25-21), after getting swept (29-27, 25-20, 25-19) by Hunter College earlier in the morning. John Jay's record is now 6-9 on the season.

TROY, N.Y. – Nina Caprio scored twice within 2:10 in the third quarter to lead the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) field hockey team to a 2-1 victory over Skidmore College in a Liberty League contest at Harkness Field. The Engineers extended their winning streak to three games and are now 5-6 overall. They are 2-1 in the conference, while the Thoroughbreds fall to 1-2. They are 6-7 overall.

Women's Tennis Drops Match to Behrend



ERIE, P.A. – The Medaille College women's tennis team played one of their final regular matches of the season last night against the Penn State Behrend Lions. The Mavericks fell 6-3.

It was a tough loss for the Mavericks. Arianna Lysiak (Cheektowaga, NY, Maryvale) and Emily Jablonski (Alden, NY, Alden) were the team standouts. Jablonski won her singles match 6-3 and 6-1. Lysiak won her singles match 6-0 and 6-1. The two played in the third doubles spot and won their match 8-5.

The Mavericks have a last minute match scheduled against AMCC opponent Pitt Bradford. The Mavs will travel on Wednesday October 13 for a 5:00 p.m. start time.
