ABC News Wins Four Promax BDA Awards

ABC News President Kim Godwin sent the following note to the news division announcing that ABC News has won four Promax BDA Awards. See below for Godwin’s note to staff:

I am thrilled to share that our incredible ABC News Marketing and Creative team has won four Promax BDA Awards. These are premier awards

that recognize excellence in creativity, marketing, design and promotion in our industry.

The first was a Promax Gold Award for the outstanding promotion that went into supporting ABC News’ eight-part podcast “Truth and Lies: Jeffrey Epstein,” which detailed his horrendous crimes and the powerful women who came forward to tell their stories.

The team won the Promax Silver Award for their promotion of the groundbreaking two-hour broadcast special “Truth and Lies: Jeffrey Epstein,” which featured footage of past Epstein interviews, deposition tapes and police interviews with the women involved in his crimes.

Lastly, the team won two Promax Bronze Awards. One for the promotion of ABC News’ month-long “Nightline” takeover event for “Turning Point,” which shed light on the racial reckoning that consumed the nation last year, and one for the video trailer promoting the “Truth and Lies: Jeffrey Epstein” podcast.

Congratulations to this hard-working creative team on their multiple prestigious wins.

Kim
