DELHI, N.Y. (September 26, 2021) - The SUNY Delhi men's soccer team were tangled in a tight match Sunday with NAC-foe Maine Farmington that stood scoreless for the first 82 minutes. It was a penalty kick that decided the outcome, however, as the Beavers' Gracien Mukwa took advantage of his opportunity to give Delhi its first league defeat of the year. The Broncos are 2-1 in NAC play and 2-6-1 overall, concluding a busy weekend that saw them beat Northern Vermont Lyndon by a 5-0 score Saturday.

New Paltz, NY — The State University of New York at New Paltz men's soccer team in partnership with the Office of Veteran & Military Services, announced the date of the annual Heinz Ahlmeyer Jr. soccer game, which will take place Saturday, Oct. 2 on the South Turf Field.
Due to COVID-19, the 2020 fall season was canceled, along with the annual event that honors 1966 graduate and former men's soccer player Heinz Ahlmeyer Jr. who was killed in action in the Vietnam War in 1967. The Athletics, Wellness and Recreation Department named one of its most prestigious annual awards after Ahlmeyer Jr. who was beloved by all of his teammates and coaches.
