Leading a record day for the Lions was junior Lindsey Ewertsen, who in just three seasons, set a new Columbia career record in caused turnovers with six on Saturday for a current total of 86. The Lions defense was sensational in the opening period, tying a season-high 11 caused turnovers and holding the Bulldogs to just two scores for an 8-2 lead at the break. Ewertsen led the charge with five a game-high six in the first half, along with three of four by Kathryn Cavallo. The Lions finished the afternoon with a season-high 14 caused turnovers.
