BUFFALO, NY – The Medaille Men's Lacrosse team
returned to action Saturday afternoon when they hosted La Roche College.
The Mavs enter play (0-8) overall and (0-0) in the conference.
The first two quarters were kind to the Mavs as they took a (10-7) lead into the halftime.
The Mavs were led by Tyler Fales (Batavia, NY, Batavia) who had (5) goals. Jake Rush (Hamburg, NY, Frontier) and Ben Erickson (Franklinville, NY, Franklinville) also contributed with two goals each.
Medaille kept it rolling in the second half and defeated La Roche by a score of (15-10).
The Maverick offense was led by the stellar play of
Fales who finished the game with (6) goals and (1) assist. Erickson
finished with (6) points (4 goals and 2 assists), and Rush finished with
(7) points (3 goals and 4 assists).
The win marks Medaille's first of the season and they will improve their record to (1-8).
The Mavs will return to action Monday when they host Houghton College at 7 PM.
