Mecum Auctions, the world’s largest collector car auction company, closed out the year by setting an all-time sales record at its long-running Kansas City auction, Dec. 2-4. The three-day event saw 85% of all 709 vehicles hammer sold as overall sales totals reached $19.2 million, far exceeding the previous Kansas City auction high of $13 million.
