PLATTSBURGH, New York – The Oswego State women's tennis team fell 7-2 to
Plattsburgh Friday afternoon on the road. With the loss, the Lakers fall
to 4-7 on the season while the Cardinals improve to 5-6 overall.
Madeline Klatt and Giovanna Saulle earned Oswego's first point of the match as they took down their Cardinal opponents 8-4 at the third slot.
At third singles, Alli Ullrich battled to earn the first set 7-6, before easily taking the second 6-0. Leslie Usherwood put up a good fight at fourth, falling in the first set 6-3 then making her foe go to extras before losing 7-6.
Women's tennis heads back on the road on Sunday as the team travels to Alfred University for a 12 p.m. match.
