MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Mustangs fell to Houghton 4-0 in a non-conference game on Tuesday evening.
Morrisville was unable to find the
cage despite six penalty corners. Four Mustangs had shots on goal, but
Houghton's keeper, Elizabeth Piszker was up to the task each time
denying each shot.
The Mustangs' goalie, Liz Leva (Hoosick Falls, N.Y.) faced 17 shots on goal and denied 12 of them. Cailin Dunphy (Putnam Valley, N.Y.) picked up a defensive save to aid the defense.
Morrisville will close out the rest
of their non-conference schedule at Nazareth at 12 PM on Sunday, October
11. The Mustangs will return home on Tuesday, October 13 as they face
off against SUNYAC opponent, Oswego State.
