The doubles play really got the Lakers going, as all three squads were able to lock down commanding wins. Third doubles, consisting of Jimmy Terzian and Tyler Buxbaum finished quickly not allowing their opponents to win a single game. Jon Matros and John Stanford followed closely behind, winning in the second slot 8-2. The last doubles point came at first as Brian Emigholz and Sam McGrath coasted to a nice 8-1 victory.
In singles play, Oswego continued to dominate beginning with a double-bagel (6-0, 6-0) victory at fifth from Brian Manciocchi. Alex McCarthy (second), Ryan Korn (third) and Nick Retzkin (fourth) all won with ease as well, only allowing their counterparts one game in two sets. Oswego's final two points came from opposite ends of the lineup as McGrath took first 6-0, 6-2 and Justin Scuderi finished his Wolfpack opponent 6-1, 6-1.
Men's tennis will now start its four-game road trip to finish the season out beginning with a 1 p.m. match on Sunday at Hartwick College.
