Lacrosse Holds Fall Scrimmage for Good Cause

OSWEGO, New York – The Oswego State men's lacrosse team will hold its annual Green/Gold/Pink intrasquad scrimmage at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct 10.

This year's scrimmage has extra meaning to the team as all proceeds will be donated to the Wilmot Cancer Center in Rochester, N.Y. in memory of Glenn Palmer. Glenn was the father of former captain and four-year letter winner Matt Palmer, who graduated last season. The Pittsford, N.Y. native was battling lung cancer at the treatment center, all the while remaining one of the Lakers most supportive and loyal fans.

To check out the Wilmot Cancer Center and all of the work it has done in the field of cancer treatment, feel free to go to its homepage here: WILMOT CANCER CENTER

Donations will be accepted at Laker Turf Stadium before and during the scrimmage. Fans can also donate via mail through the address found below.
