The Middle "Two of a Kind" Airs April 22nd

WHEN FRANKIE’S UNCLE DUTCH ATTEMPTS TO REUNITE AND BURY THE HATCHET WITH

A FAMILY FEUD WITH THE ESTRANGED BROTHERS, ON ABC’S “THE MIDDLE”
Dick Van Dyke and Jerry Van Dyke Guest Star as Estranged Brothers Dutch and Tag
Frankie and Mike find themselves caught in the middle of a long standing family feud when Frankie's Uncle Dutch (Dick Van Dyke) contacts her dad, Tag (Jerry Van Dyke), in an attempt to reunite and bury the hatchet with his estranged brother. Meanwhile, a fearful Sue receives her first detention ever for being caught going off campus for lunch and seeks advice from Axl on how to survive the ordeal unscathed, on “The Middle,” WEDNESDAY, APRIL 22 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

“The Middle” stars Patricia Heaton as Frankie, Neil Flynn as Mike, Charlie McDermott as Axl, Eden Sher as Sue and Atticus Shaffer as Brick.

Guest starring are Jerry Van Dyke as Tag Spence, Dick Van Dyke as Dutch Spence, Brooke Dillman as Coach Babbitt, Christopher Darga as Mr. Farrar, George Pond as scary guy and Shane Kaufman as menacing guy.

”Two of a Kind” was written by Tim Hobert and directed by Danny Salles.

“The Middle” is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC’s selected HDTV format with a 5.1 channel surround sound. A TV parental guideline will be assigned closer to the airdate.
