Merit is twelve years old, but she’s a seasoned veteran, having booked many national commercials including Legal Shield, Purina Cat Chow, Pop Tarts, Target, Kmart, Yoplait and more. Most recently Merit worked on the hit show The New Normal and the Feature Film "Resident Advisor" playing the role of Meredith and has just finished providing the voice for the character Lucinda the Witch for Disney's "Sophia The First". She also appeared in the short film "Monster Slayer" for the USA network and RSA Films, a web series "Zimm The Series" as young Zimm. She plays Emma in the soon to be released Indie feature “Grooming Giselle” and a short film called “Specifically” directed by George Newbern.
She is a funny, energetic and smart girl who is very passionate about saving the earth. Merit and her sister
Marlowe are both green advocates and have created “The Plastic Patrol” @ www.theplasticpatrol.org funded with their own money from acting. This project is all about kids teaching kids how they can help save the oceans. Merit and The Plastic Patrol are currently in pre-production on a series of webisodes.
