Hollywood, California - Adorable twenty three year old American Idol contestant Janelle Arthur sang a wonderful rendition of Billy Joel's "You May Be Right" during the American Idol live performance night on April 3rd, 2013 in Hollywood, California. During the live performance show she also sang a trio of Billy Joel's song, "It's Still Rock N Roll To Me." with Amber Holcomb and Kree Harrison.

Janelle Arthur born December 12, 1989 is an American singer from Oliver Springs, Tennessee. She is currently a Top 7 finalist on the twelfth season of American Idol.

Arthur was born in Oliver Springs, Tennessee, to Judy and Gentle Dean Arthur.

When she was 8 years old, she portrayed Dolly Parton in a theatrical production of Dolly's life at Dollywood theme park. In 2001, Arthur was hired as a child performer for the Country Tonite Theater, in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. As an adult performer, Arthur returned to the Country Tonite Theater stage and remained with the cast for another four years, until she moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 2010 to pursue her music career.
