Assistant Secretary Jones is in on foreign travel in Malaysia and Australia from March 10 through 17. In Malaysia, Assistant Secretary Jones will represent the United States as Head of U.S. Delegation at the inaugural Joint Committee on Science and Technology between Malaysia and the United States. Assistant Secretary Jones will also meet with the Science Advisor to Malaysia’s Prime Minister, visit the Forest Research Institute Malaysia, host a science outreach event with local youth, and conduct media interviews. In Australia, Assistant Secretary Jones will serve as Head of the U.S. Delegation at the Joint Committee Meeting on Science and Technology between Australia and the United States. She will also visit the Sydney Institute of Marine Science and the Australian National Fabrication Facility, in addition to leading a roundtable with students at the University of Sydney.
8:30 a.m. LOCAL Assistant Secretary Jones leads the U.S. delegation at the U.S.- Australia Joint Committee Meeting on Science and Technology Cooperation, in Sydney, Australia.

SPECIAL REPRESENTATIVE TO MUSLIM COMMUNITIES FARAH PANDITH 
Special Representative Pandith is on foreign travel in Brussels, Belgium to attend the 2013 Brussels Forum and TransAtlantic Inclusion Leadership Network on March 15 through 17. Special Representative Pandith is scheduled to participate in the Forum’s panel discussion on Building Networks for Active Change, and deliver remarks at an event titled, “Changing Demographics- Changing Politics?”
