She has appeared on the TV series Without a Trace, Gilmore Girls, Ghost Whisperer, Scoundrels and The Young and the Restless, among others. She is currently a main character on Switched at Birth, where she stars as Bay Kennish. Her younger sister, Laura Marano is also a successful actress, starring on Austin & Ally.
Laura Marano, 19, born November 29, 1995 is an American teen actress and singer. She has appeared in Without a Trace and Back to You, in both instances playing the daughter of the main characters. She stars in the Disney Channel series Austin & Ally as Ally Dawson. Her older sister Vanessa Marano is also an actress. Marano will also be starring as a lead role in the new film, A Sort of Homecoming.

She has also starred in Leo Little's Big Show and has done voice work as Rosebud in the Air Buddies films.
