Fighting Tiger Freshman Places 18th in Decathlon at Mondshein Multi-Events Meet

Kutztown, Pa.- SUNY Cobleskill freshman decathlete Zach Haskins, Warnerville, N.Y., Cobleskill-Richmondville High School, posted a score of 5409 points to place 18^th overall at the 2016 Mondshein Multi-Events Meet hosted by Kutztown University on Thursday April 14 and Friday April 15.

Looking to improve his standing for the New York State College Track Conference (NYSCTC) Haskins finished sixth of the 11 NCAA Division III participants in the field and 18^th of the 28 competitors originally entered in the meet which featured athletes from all three NCAA Divisions of competition.

The Fighting Tigers will next be in action as a team today, Saturday April 16^th when they travel to Troy, N.Y. for the 2016 Upstate Invitational hosted by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) at the Engineers' Harkness Field beginning at 9:00 a.m.
