OSWEGO, New York – The Oswego State women's tennis team fell to Elmira
College 7-2 Tuesday afternoon on the road. With the loss, the Lakers
drop to 4-6 on the season, while the Soaring Eagles move to 3-4.
After dropping all three doubles, Oswego found a spark of influence at the bottom of the order in singles. Giovanna Saulle earned a victory at fifth defeating her opponent 6-1, 6-1. Madeline Klatt followed suit, claiming a win at sixth by the same score.
Women's tennis returns to the courts at 4 p.m. on Friday as the team travels north to take on the Cardinals of Plattsburgh.
