Golden Eagles defeat Bears, 3-0



BROCKPORT, N.Y.—The SUNY Potsdam women's volleyball team (5-8, 1-5 SUNYAC) fell to the Brockport Golden Eagles (11-6, 2-2 SUNYAC) Friday in three sets (13-25, 23-25, 21-25) on Friday evening.
 
Junior Outside Hitter Jessica Ader (Highland

Mills, N.Y./Monroe-Woodbury) totaled 12 kills, one ace and eight digs on the night. Junior Setter Alyssa Rogers (Anchorage, AK/Grace Christian) finished with 18 assists and three aces, while freshman Outside Hitter Megan Henry (Condor, N.Y/Condor) racked up five kills and six digs. Junior Outside Hitter Mackenzie Fischer (Cottekill, N.Y./Rondout Valley) finished the night with a total of 16 digs.
 
For the Golden Eagles, Sophomore outside hitter Megan Loomis had 12 kills, while senior Setter Kerri McHale had a game-high 33 assists on the night. Senior libero Shelby Budnick finished with 17 digs and two assists.
 
The Bears are back in action tomorrow after at 1 p.m. for an SUNYAC match up against the Geneseo Knights.
