St. Lawrence blanks Bard in women's lacrosse

CANTON, N.Y. - The St. Lawrence University women's lacrosse team defeated Bard College, 18-0, in a Liberty League game on Saturday afternoon.

The Saints (8-6, 4-2 Liberty League) outshot Bard, 18-3, and went 14-of-16 on clears. St. Lawrence caused 11 of Bard's 23 turnovers.

Five players scored two goals apiece for St. Lawrence, led by freshman Alexandra LaMotte (Barrington, RI), who also had two assists.

Casey Witte had three draw controls for Bard (4-8, 0-5), and Molly Woolery collected two ground balls. Kaylynn Tran made four saves.
