Keuka College (10-6, 8-0) will remain on the road tomorrow as they face Penn College in an NEAC doubleheader in Williamsport, Pa.
Game 1
Keuka College's offense had only four hits in Game 1, but they were able to maximize their offense. Mackenzie Cole led off the game with a walk and stole second base. After moving to third, she scored on a groundout for the 1-0 lead. Katelyn Warren came to the plate with two outs and hit her second homerun of the season to make it 2-0.
The Green and Gold added three more runs in the second. With two runners on and one out, an error
by the Mustang left fielder scored one run for Keuka. Allyson Muller then doubled to left field to plate two runs, giving Keuka the 5-0 lead. The hit was the 100th of Muller's career.
Starting pitcher Liz Warren went six innings for Keuka, allowing only three hits and striking out seven. Morrisville State push a run across in the seventh, but Alexa Prue struck out the final batter looking to end the game with Keuka winning 5-1.
Game 2
Keuka took the lead in Game 2 with a five hit, six run second inning. Mickenzie Palmer led the inning off with a single and moved to second on a bunt. Following a walk, Nicole Wright singled to score Palmer. Tally McDonald brought two home on a double to left centerfield. With two outs and two on, Allyson Muller singled home two runs and a double by Kate Warren scored Muller for the 6-0 lead.
Kate Warren had an RBI single in the fourth inning as Keuka added to their lead. Also plating runs in the inning was Alysha Bachman, Jessica Parmiter, and Nicole Wright. Wright doubled to left center to score Parmiter.
Brianna Bush leveled her season record at 4-4 earning the win for Keuka.
