Keuka College won the opening game 6-5, but fell in Game 2, 10-5.
Keuka College (12-10) will return home on Thursday for a non-conference game as they host Elmira College in a single, nine-inning game.
Game 1
The Green and Gold struck first on Wednesday. Jake Redding walked to start the game. Tyler
Freedman tripled to right centerfield to score Redding. Freedman came home the next batter on a sacrifice fly by Kyle Dailey and Keuka led 2-0.
Keuka added an unearned run in the second, but the Panthers plated two in the bottom of the inning and there more in the third, taking a 5-3 lead.
Tyler Freedman led off the fifth inning with his first career homerun to get one back, but Keuka would trail 5-4 going into the seventh.
The Green and Gold led the inning off by getting hit by the pitch. Following a sacrifice bunt and a walk, Keuka had runners on the corners with one out. Tyler Krowiak singled to left field to tied the game at 5-5. The next batter, Justin Torres, grounded out to short, but it was enough to score the run from third giving Keuka a 6-5 lead.
Pitt.-Bradford was able to get the tying run to third, but Josh Wang got a strikeout to end the game, giving Keuka College the 6-5 victory.
Wang pitched 4.2 shutout innings of relief for Keuka. He struck out a career-high four in earning his first career win.
Game 2
The Green and Gold got on the board first in the nightcap. Dakota Skinner hit an RBI single through the left side of the infield for the 1-0 lead. Bradford responded with three runs in the second and third innings to take a 6-1 lead over Keuka.
Keuka got a run back on a Tyler Krowiak sacrifice fly in the fifth, but the Panthers answered with three more runs. Billy McDermott and Dan Bamann hit RBI singles in the sixth and Brett Fenton added a sacrifice fly in the seventh, but it was not enough as Keuka would fall to Pitt.-Bradford 10-5.
