Janesville Beach, New York - Running on the course that will host the
2015 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Cross Country
Championships the SUNY Cobleskill men's cross country team posted a team
total of 95 points to place third overall in a field of 14 teams at the
Seventh Annual Cazenovia College Homecoming Invitational.
The Fighting Tigers were led once again by sophomore Anthony Bouchard,
Wantagh, N.Y., Wantagh High School, who placed ninth overall in the
field of 118 runners by completing the hilly 8000-meter course in a time
of 28:38 followed by freshman Josh Foust, West Sand Creek, N.Y., Averill Park High School, who placed 12th overall in 28:53.
The Orange & Black also received scoring efforts from sophomore Zach Jacobson, Berkshire, N.Y., Newark Valley High School, who finished in 16th place with a time of 29:04, sophomore Joseph Fitzgerald, Washingtonville, N.Y., Washingtonville High School, who placed 28th in 29:37 and senior Dan Fields, Lebanon, N.Y., Lyman Memorial High School, who finished in 32nd place in 29:58.
Cobleskill
will return to action after the fall college's fall break when they
travel to Clinton, N.Y. for the 2015 New York State College Track
Conference Meet hosted by Hamilton College on the college's cross
country coach beginning at 11:00 a.m.
