Toronto, Canada - Eleven year old child actress Quvenzhane Wallis and actress Salma Hayek (48) looked simply beautiful as they attended the 'Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet' premiere during the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival held at Ryerson Theatre on September 6, 2014 in Toronto, Canada.
Quvenzhane Wallis wore a blue/white patterned dress, blue flats, Salma a black dress and high heels to this premiere. These two are animated in this movie which first premiered at the Cannes International Film Festival on May 17th, 2014.
Quvenzhané Wallis born August 28, 2003) is an African-American child actress and singer. She is known for her leading role as Hushpuppy in the critically acclaimed drama film Beasts of the Southern Wild (2012), for which she became the youngest actress ever to receive a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actress.
Salma Hayek Jiménez is a Mexican and American film actress, director and producer. She began her career
in Mexico starring in the telenovela Teresa and went on to star in the film El Callejón de los Milagros (Miracle Alley) for which she was nominated for an Ariel Award. In 1991 Hayek moved to Hollywood and came to prominence with roles in Hollywood movies such as Desperado (1995), Dogma (1999), and Wild Wild West (1999).
