St. John Fisher College Baseball Beats Brockport

The nationally-ranked St. John Fisher College baseball program improved to 28-8 overall with a 4-2 win at the SUNY College at Brockport on Tuesday afternoon. 

Senior Stephen Lewis earned the win on the mound, raising his record to 6-0 on the year, as the lefty allowed just one run over five innings.  Kevin Berge, DJ Mendenhall and Ryan Felske each pitched scoreless innings.  Loukas Brigham allowed one run, but was still able to secure his sixth save of the season.

Fisher took a 2-0 lead in the fifth inning.  Cody Wiktorski singled, stole second and scored on a double from Nate Roethel.   Three batters later, Roethel scored on an infield single from Frank Carnevale.

Wiktorski scored another run in the eighth inning and Malcolm Kelsey crossed home on a wild pitch in the ninth.

Sophomore Scott Eisenmenger went 2-for-4 on the day, while Wiktorski went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two stolen bases.
